Call for Papers
Academic and Industrial Sessions
Tutorials, Workshops, Panels, Demos, Exhibitions

February 21, 2014: Preliminary Proposals for Academic Sessions, Workshops, Panels, Tutorials, ...
February 28, 2014: Preliminary Proposals for Industrial Sessions, Workshops, Panels, Tutorials, ...

ERSA’14 consists of two parts:

  • ERSA Academic Section
  • ERSA Industrial Section

You are invited to submit your paper and/or proposal of dedicated sessions, tutorials, workshops, demos, and panel discussion sessions for consideration

The scope of ERSA covers broad area, from simple applications on programmable logic to complex, intelligent, high-performance, embedded systems implemented as multicore systems and heterogeneous parallel processing systems. All these complex systems involve reconfigurability on software and/or hardware level.

The range of topics covers theory, architecture, algorithms, design systems, and applications that demonstrate the benefits of reconfigurable computing:

  • Theory - Synthesis, Mapping, Parallelization, Partitioning...
  • Software - CAD Systems and Languages, Compilers, Operating Systems...
  • Hardware - Adaptive and Dynamic Hardware, Heterogeneous and Reconfigurable Architectures...
  • Applications - HPC, Mobile Computing, Automotive Industry, Space and Military...

ERSA explores emerging trends and novel ideas in the area of parallel, reconfigurable, high-performance, heterogeneous computing systems architecture, design methods and applications. ERSA is promoting multidisciplinary research and new visionary approaches including bio-inspired architectures, computational biology, physics etc.

Since 2012, ERSA brings a new emphasis on the commercial and industrial challenges in preparing commercial applications for systems using reconfigurable, heterogeneous technology.

ERSA conference brings together leading scientists and researchers from academia and industry. The best papers of ERSA have been published as the special issues of top archival journals.

All conference proceedings/books are considered for inclusion in major database indexes.

ERSA is a part of WORLDCOMP Congress bringing together more than 2,200 attendees from over 85 countries over the world. Companies, participating at ERSA/WORLDCOMP, get their products and organizations in front of this number of attendees and countries.

Make your proposals for dedicated sessions (both, academic and industrial), exhibitions, demos, presentations, etc.

Note, each session may have academic and industrial sections; it is most appreciated.

Feb 28, 2014: Preliminary Proposals for Industrial Sessions, Workshops, Panels, Tutorials, ...
Mar 15, 2014: Submission of full papers academic papers
Mar 21, 2014: Submission of Industrial Papers, Panels, Session, Workshop, Tutorials, ...
Apr 15, 2014: Notification of acceptance
May 3, 2014: Final papers + Copyright + Registration
Jul 21-24, 2014: The ERSA 2014 conference.

Academic Sessions consists of

  • Invited and dedicated sessions
  • Invited speakers
  • Regular papers of each category (full size, short and poster papers)
  • Panel discussion sessions
  • Tutorials

Academic contributors are also welcomed to submit commercial/industrial presentations in each category.

ERSA Industrial Section is to assemble a coordinated research and commercial meeting held in same location and dates. It provides a forum between academic researchers and commercial entrepreneurs from developed countries and emerging economic markets.

Industrial Sessions consist of

  • Invited and dedicated sessions
  • Invited speakers
  • Presentations and papers on techniques, tools, and resources that are available for commercial use
  • Posters that *can* be promotionally oriented
  • Discussion and panel sessions on challenges facing developers (technical challenges; business challenges)
  • Tutorials and seminars on tools, products and challenges facing developers
  • Product demonstrations, exhibitions and overviews

Industrial papers must have strong technical content, but they are not evaluated from academic point of view. Industrial presentation does not require submission of paper, short abstract is sufficient (for details, contact the Chair by email

You are called to submit proposals for dedicated sessions, tutorials, workshops, demos, and panel discussion sessions, and to submit papers/presentations in each category. Dedicated sessions consist of invited papers and regular papers. You can choose the topic of your session. If you are interested to organize invited sessions and/or tutorials, please contact with conf chair by email
